One such person is Pietermaritzburg’s own Yunus Carrim, who has devoted his life to the upliftment of others in the spirit of non-racialism, non-sectarianism and selfless civic-mindedness.
Carrim, a former journalist and academic with strong struggle credentials, is a former Cabinet Minister in Government.
